Terms & Conditions

We let a pitch to you with the expectation that you will follow the usual customs of good camping and caravanning. We reserve the right to ask you to leave at any point of your stay if the behaviour of any member of your party is unacceptable to us and no refund of monies will be paid.

Your Pitch

In peak and high seasons pitches are available from 2pm on the day your holiday commences. In mid and low seasons you may arrive earlier. You must vacate by 12.00 am on the day of departure and leave the pitch in a clean and tidy state. Pitches offered are for one tent, motor home, caravan or camper van only, plus one vehicle.

Pitch price includes two adults. There are extra charges for children under 12, awnings, pup tents, gazebos, dogs, extra adults and cars. It is your responsibility to ensure that you can fit both your vehicle and unit on the pitch allocated to you. If you decide to bring extras, these must fit within the pitch.

We do not allow tents over 7m x 6m in a single pitch Tents larger than this must be by prior arrangement and will incur extra charges.



Your pitch will be available from 2pm on the booked day of arrival and must be vacated by 12am on the day of departure. We reserve the right to re-let pitches if not claimed by 6pm unless prior arrangements have been made with us but no arrivals after 9pm. The site is not staffed after 6pm.


We require a NON REFUNDABLE deposit of 25% to secure your booking (minimum £30 unless total booking is less). Full payment of balance must be received no later than 2 weeks before the holiday start date or the booking will be cancelled and deposit lost.

Bookings made over the phone must be confirmed by you in an email or letter. If not confirmed in this manner the management cannot take any responsibility for mistakes made.


Cancellation and Early Departure

No refund will be given to people cancelling their holiday within 2 weeks of the start date. The deposit is ALWAYS non-refundable. No part refund will be given to people leaving early for any reason.

The contract is with Peter Cobbledick, West Grove Farm, Bude, EX23 9TG Road who will not be liable to any person visiting, for any personal injury, fatal or non fatal unless caused by a negligent act or omission by the company or its employees. Atlantic Camping will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage to any property including, motor vehicles and personal effects, howsoever caused or sustained. Atlantic Escapes are the commission agent.

The grass

We ask that you take care of the pitch while you are our guests. If your ground sheet is not breathable please lift it every day. If you stay for more than 7 nights please move your tent/caravan to another area of the pitch in order to reduce wear and tear on the ground.

Do not pour hot water onto the grass.

Open fires and ground level barbecues are not permitted. Bricks for barbecues to prevent grass damage are available for you to borrow (please ask a member of staff). The use of generators is not permitted on site. Cutting or damaging trees and other vegetation is strictly prohibited and the natural conditions are not to be disturbed.

You must pitch as directed by the ground staff, not encroach upon any other pitches and consider fire risk limitation, safety and access. If you pitch outside the boundaries of your pitch or your unit is judged to pose a risk to the safety and comfort of others you will be asked to move.

Your Party

We allow a maximum of 6 people per pitch. If maximum occupancy is exceeded then two pitches must be booked. The cottage area and pod area are separate and guests are requested not to go into those areas. If you have friends there they can come to the camping field.

We are not able to accept bookings from single sex parties of more than 5 or from unaccompanied persons under the age of 18. If we see a group forming, we will ask you to leave and no refund of monies will be paid.


We regret that the weather is not in our control and we cannot refund any money due to adverse weather conditions.


Only one vehicle is allowed per pitch.  Extra vehicles incur an extra charge and may not be able to be parked next to your pitch. We do not allow commercial vehicles on site.

Alteration to bookings

Where possible we will endeavor to accommodate your needs. Bookings cancelled due to an inability to accommodate last minute changes will not receive a refund.


We try to accommodate your needs but we cannot guarantee a specific pitch.


Some amenities may be restricted according to demand at the beginning and end or the season, This includes the on site shop


You must ensure children in your party are properly supervised at all times, in all areas of the park, including the play area. No ball games in the camping area. Children may play supervised on the sports pitch. The wooden play area is for under elevens only. We ask that unaccompanied children do not wander around other areas of the farm.

The sports pitch must be vacated by 9pm and that noise is kept to a minimum after this time. Please ensure that there is no noise after 10.30pm.


If you bring a dog, this remains your responsibility at all times, must be on a lead and not left unattended. Dogs are not allowed in the fields, on the sports pitch or the playground. Neither are they allowed in the pod area or cottage gardens. Dog’s fouling must be cleaned up immediately and disposed of safely. Failure to do so will result in your party being asked to leave the farm. Very large breeds and controversial breeds are not accepted.


Bins are provided for your day-to-day rubbish. Please do not use them to leave broken equipment, groundsheets, surfboards etc. We pay to have our rubbish collected and so a £50 fine will be given to anyone found doing this.

If there is a problem or dissatisfaction with any matters under our control, please notify us immediately, so we may have the opportunity to rectify issues. We cannot accept liability in relation to any claim of whatever nature if you fail to notify us within seven days from the end of your stay with us.


Please check invoices and confirmation emails carefully. Any mistakes not brought to our attention will not be the responsibility or the management.


Your booking includes one tent/motor home/caravan and 2 people. All extra tents/toilet tents/ awnings/storage tents etc. will be charged and permission must be given before erection.

Toilet Waste Disposal

We have facilities for biodegradable toilet chemicals. Unfortunately we are unable to dispose of ‘Blue’ chemicals. i.e. Those containing Formaldehyde.


Please consult our current price list for charges mentioned above. These can vary in busy periods.

The Company and its employees accept no liability for any accident, injury, loss or damage to any persons or property occupying or using any part of the park, however caused. Any person in breach of the booking conditions or park rules, may, at the discretion of the management, be asked to leave. No refund will be given. Any person causing offence to other guests at the park may, at the discretion of the management, be asked to leave. No refund will be given.

Any decision made by Atlantic Farm management is final.

Force Majeure

Force majeure as interpreted by Owners exists if the implementation of the agreement is entirely or partially, temporarily or permanently, prevented due to circumstances which are beyond the control of the owner, including threat of war, staff strikes, blockades, fire, floods, high winds, heavy rains and other disruptions or events. The owners are within their rights to close their location when they consider such circumstances as these make it necessary. The owners will endeavour to manage any problems caused as a result of a Force Majeure event but shall be under no obligation to do so and shall not be liable to you for any losses caused by a Force Majeure event.
